ACS Infectious Diseases Young Investigator Award

The ACS Infectious Diseases Young Investigator Award and the ACS Division of Biological Chemistry recognize outstanding young investigators in the infectious diseases field who are within ten years of their last training experience or at the Assistant Professor level. We are excited to announce the 2022 ACS Infectious Diseases Young Investigator Awardees. Each will be giving an oral presentation at the Fall 2022 ACS National meeting being held in Chicago on Sunday, August 21.

Eli Lilly Award in Biological Chemistry

The Eli Lilly Award in Biological Chemistry was established in 1934. Consisting of a bronze medal and honorarium, its purpose is to stimulate fundamental research in biological chemistry by scientists not over thirty-eight years of age. The Award is administered by the Division of Biological Chemistry of the American Chemical Society.

Pfizer Award in Enzyme Chemistry

The Pfizer Award in Enzyme Chemistry has been terminated. The Division of Biological Chemistry wishes to thank Pfizer Inc. for their gracious support of this award over the last 75 years, an event celebrated at the Spring ACS 2022 National Meeting with presentations by Paul Schimmel (1978 awardee), Tom Cech (1985), Ron Raines (1998), Ruma Banerjee (2001) and Kate Carroll (2013).
