Nominations are requested for the Eli Lilly Award in Biological Chemistry, the Pfizer Award in Enzyme Chemistry, and the Repligen Award in Chemistry of Biological Processes in addition to the Gordon Hammes Biochemistry Lectureship, the ACS Chemical Biology Lectureship and the Murray Goodman Memorial Prize, please visit the Nominations page for more information.

Call for Papers: 254th ACS Meeting August 20-24, 2017 in Washington DC

Abstract deadline Monday March 20, 2017. In addition to poster sessions, there will be oral sessions for contributed papers from Graduate students and postdocs, Early Career Investigators and Mid-Career Investigators. Speakers for these symposia will be selected from the submitted abstracts. If your abstract is not chosen for an oral presentation, it will be moved to a poster session. 2016 Philadelphia ACS Meeting BIOL Division ABSTRACT DEADLINE – EXTENDED!

The Fall ACS meeting will be Aug 21-25 in Philadelphia. You can now submit abstracts through the ACS MAPS system: maps.acs.orgDeadline for BIOL abstracts has been extended to March 28.  Program Chairs are Vahe Bandarian and Lizbeth Hedstrom.

BIOL Division Nominees Sought for the Kavli Emerging Leader Lecturer in Chemistry

The Kavli Foundation Emerging Leader in Chemistry Lecture is awarded to an outstanding chemical scientist who is less than 10 years past receipt of his or her Ph.D. and will be under 40 years of age as of Monday, April 3, 2017, the date of the lecture. The ninth lecture in this series will take place at the Spring ACS National Meeting in San Francisco, CA. Divisional nominations must be submitted to the ACS after approval from the respective division Chair. The deadline for BIOL Chair approval is April 4, 2016.
